slightly bent inwards from centre to tornus. Basal line faintly indicated by a short dark line below centre of wing. First line only just indicated by a dot at centre of wing, with a dark streak below centre outwardly angled towards dorsum. Claviform shows as a slight dot with a surrounding darker suffusion. Reniform faintly shown clouded with dark brown with a small dark dot in centre. Submarginal area very slightly paler—the terminal line indistinct, with a terminal series of small dark dots. Cilia ochreous—very short. Veins faintly indicated in grey. Lower wings pale ochreous without markings and with a definite incurving at about one-third along termen. Cilia light ochreous and very short. Under side evenly ochreous white, the hindwings a shade lighter. No appearance of lunule. Twelve specimens, all males, and all remarkably even in size, from Moke Lake, Wakatipu District, taken in February on “sugar” and at dusk with the net. No females were taken despite a special search, and it is likely that they will prove to be apterous. The small amount of marking on the forewings and the absence of markings in the hindwings, along with the well-developed incurved area in the latter, make this species easily separated from any other Selidosema.
