Abstract Report of the Council for the Annual Meeting.
The Society consists of 85 members; a considerable number of those formerly belonging to it having joined other local Societies affiliated to the Institute.
The subscriptions received for the year amount to £72 9s.
The expenditure has been £33 16s. 11d., the largest item being the proportional contribution to the Institute.
The balance in the hands of the Treasurer, as shown by the accompanying accounts, is £87 0s. 11d.
There have been six meetings of the Society, the papers read at which will appear in Vol. II. of the Transactions of the Institute, which is now in the press.
Seven meetings of the Council have been held during the year.
