2. Mr. McKay exhibited a curious growth of potato, containing seven distinct parts and joined in the centre, and weighing nearly 51b. It was grown at Patea. He also showed a photograph of the specimen from different views.

Mr. Maskell did not suppose there was any particular advantage in having growths of this enormous size. He would prefer the ordinary size.
