b. Uralite porphyrite, crossed nicols. Crystal in the upper portion is a twinned augite partly uralitised. The larger crystals of plagioclase are imbedded in a groundmass of smaller crystals of plagioclase, fibrous hornblende, and magnetite. (C 284.)
