New Members.—C. W. Garrard, B.A., R. T. Inglis, B. M. Dr. R. Briffault delivered a lecture on “The Problem of Cancer.”
The lecturer in the first place gave a popular account of the facts that have been clearly ascertained respecting the nature and origin of cancer, and then proceeded to set forth the various theories that have been propounded respecting it, explaining at some length the conception now most widely held by experts.
