Leguminosae.

Lathyris pratensis Linn. Meadow pea. Smith (1904, p. 218) records the species from Ashburton, and it has now been found near Gore, S. D. Blomfield! L. pratensis Linn. differs from the latter species in the yellow flowers and glabrous pods.
